Welcome to the new Kay David website. If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll see I’ve made some changes in my site and in my writing. If you’re a new reader, I’m thrilled to have you visit.
I’ll going to release several new books in the next few weeks, all of them through KayDavid.com. Most of them are brand new stories, but some will be old favorites. I’ll make sure you know which is which. One of my mother’s pet peeves was buying the same book twice because she didn’t recognize a reissue. Her ghost will haunt me if I don’t make the distinction obvious and I have enough trouble without that!
The new stories will be part of a series called The Guardians Return, and they are a continuation of a trilogy called the Guardians which was released by Harlequin Superromance some time ago. Those books are still available if you want to read them but strictly speaking, that’s not necessary in order to follow where the latest stories are going now.
Set along the emerald coast of Florida’s northwest Panhandle, the Guardians Return series will feature a SWAT team known as The Guardians. Hard hitting men and women dedicated to protecting those who need it the most, these are law enforcement officers who definitely are not rookies. They know their way around disasters of all kinds, including those of the heart. The people who love them risk losing them every day, but never taking the chance to love them at all is even worse. If you’re looking for intense, action packed romances filled with characters who live hard and love even harder, these are books for you.
Sign up for my newsletter and you’ll know in advance when the latest Guardians Return romance will be released. As a special thank you for signing up, I’ll send you my short story The Devil’s Shoes. It’s a prequel to the paranormal series which I plan to release some time next year.
In the meantime, thanks for visiting. Leave me a comment, a random thought, or any news you’d like to share. I’ll be doing the same in the blogs I’ll be posting. Look forward to hearing from you. In the meantime, pour a glass of wine, sit back, and enjoy this gorgeous sunset off my balcony.
See you soon.
